As BTS followers put together for the discharge of the forthcoming ARMY documentary Perpetually We Are Younger, a brand new clip of the movie that includes Steve Aoki has arrived.
Within the 19-second clip, the producer describes the “magical second” when BTS followers and Ok-pop’s rise in the U.S. “all surged into the ‘MID Drop’ remix and allowed it to break by.”
The track that Aoki refers to, “MIC Drop,” was initially launched in September 2017 as a B-side on Love Your self: Her. Aoki’s edit landed two months later in November because the second single from the EP. In 2021, the video for the remix surpassed the one billion views mark on YouTube.
Perpetually We Are Younger arrives in theaters Wednesday, July 30, by way of Trafalgar Releasing. The documentary is targeted on the group’s worldwide fanbase, BTS ARMY.
The doc was directed by filmmakers Grace Lee and Patty Ahn and explores facets of ARMY together with ardour, creativity and activism, following BTS followers throughout continents. As beforehand reported by Billboard, “the undertaking dives into the fan-led actions that helped launch BTS into superstardom and displays on how ARMY has grow to be a world image of unity, inclusion and collective energy.”
“There isn’t any BTS with out ARMY and no ARMY with out BTS,” co-directors Lee and Ahn mentioned in a joint assertion. “We’re excited for audiences to go on an emotional journey and meet a fandom that made us chuckle, cry, and assume.”
Perpetually We Are Younger premiered in March at SXSW 2025 in Austin. Tickets for the July 30 world opening are on sale now.
